• Reliance Jio's Rs. 251 pack offers 102GB of data to live stream IPL matches

    With only a few days remaining for the start of the Indian Premier League, Reliance Jio  has introduced a Jio cricket season pack that allows its users to stream live matches of the IPL on their smartphones. The Rs. 251 pack offers 102GB of data, and Reliance Jio claims that subscribers will be able to stream every single match starting from April 7 till the 51-day duration of the season.

    Customers interested in the Jio cricket season pack need to recharge for Rs. 251, and this activates 102GB of mobile data which can be used to stream the live matches of the Indian Premier League. Users can watch the live stream on the MyJio app. "Jio is introducing a Cricket Season Pack that will allow cricket lovers to get access to their favourite live matches on mobile and stream almost every LIVE match throughout the duration of 51 days, available at Rs 251 only, offering 102 GB Data," Jio said in a statement.

    In addition to the IPL, MyJio app will stream a cricket comedy show called Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan LIVE. The episodes will be broadcast live every Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting April 7 at 7:30 and will be hosted by Sunil Grover and Samir Kocchar. The shows are not limited to Jio subscribers and can be accessed by non-Jio users as well. Grover will host the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Live show which will feature celebrity guests including Shilpa Shinde, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra along with former cricketers Kapil Dev and Virendra Sehwag.

    "The show premieres exclusively on MyJio app, available free to both Jio and non Jio subscribers, on April 7, 2018 ... with original LIVE episodes, releasing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday," the statement said. The company will also launch Jio Cricket Play game where participants will get chance to win prizes.
